Although this painting looks to be of a sunset. The abundance of the color red makes it feel really hot and sweltering. Nice composition with nice interplay of light and shadow. Great visual impact. Well done. ~Alveria

Stunning colours in this piece..almost as bright as your shirt in your profile picture my friend :) The orange and yellow hues blend beautifully to create a gorgeous sunset with the wonderful silhouetted land formation...a very well composed piece

I love colours you used in this lovely sunset image and also like the light you've shown in this. I don't know your methods in doing these modern landscape paintings - is it done on the computer? However you do them, I like the image you obtained. Very enjoyable piece to view. Suzanne

I did the original in oil pastels on paper. Then I adjusted the light, strengthened the image.

One can feel the solar energy in this painting by the strong use of the reds and yellows. We use trees and foliage to suppress solar energy. In this painting, it appears the sun is winning the battle.

Love the title of this artwork. The composition works with the center of interest off center to the left. Nice color harmony with the yellows and reds of the sunset. There is a nice mood to this one.
