Very nice choice for the black and white contest. Love the back lighting, the wispy hair, the low key style, fine focus, soft Background and his look away.
Love the mood this conveys.
Nice work Shadow..Good luck !

I wish they would clean up the streets already. we only just got our lights back on the corner of the hospital.

Yeah... They just cleaned up by my condo today..the debris was killing my allergies.
It looks so clean...not a leaf on the ground.
Took me 5 hours to wash...wax car.. leaves were every where...but really happy to have power and I fixed all the damage...so thankful we still have homes. Can't watch those that lost everything from Harvey, Irma and Maria...

What gorgeous defining lighting! I love this black and white profiling of this soft and delicate demeanor baboon in this brief pensive moment, even though 'soft' and 'delicate' isn't the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the baboon species. Beautiful detailing, nice selective focus and appealing tight framing of your subject.

A lovely portrait of this beautiful baboon, taken from a great POV and captured at a great angle, the title is very well suited to the piece as he does look deep in thought, captured side on with great clarity showing the shape and profile of the face well, with the thick and wiry fur abundant throughout. The B&W filter is a good choice as it shows the primate in a basic form, allowing the viewer to see the structure of its upper half in a different light and with an artistic edge. A great shot and best of luck in the competition!! :)

Beautiful black and white shot. I believe they are pondering.
It amazing how well you capture the quality and feel of the hair. The profile is also quite crisp and well defined.
Nice contrast all around.

Hi Eileen!
What a good looking profile portrait picture of this Babboon you've presented us with here,my friend!
They're a savage species of pack hunting animals and they're quite interesting to study too!
'Good Show'!
