I still can't believe the things you've been through and seen/experienced, it'd be fascinating to sit and have an afternoon chat and bottle of wine with you, not simply for entertainment in a patronising way, but for the knowledge, the experience, and the stories too. This one having quite a shocking start to it, and the image drawn reflecting quite a graphic image, in an artistic sense; not graphic at all to an artist, I am not a painter but always found people who squirmed at the idea of life drawing a bit pathetic and in need of getting a grip! My friend modelled for 2 years asa life painting subject and loved it, met some wonderful people and had no problem with it - it's how people are brought up and taught how to respond to things. My true art is skeletal articulation - I rebuild the skeletons (self taught, aided by diagrams) of animals that have died naturally or accidentally (I have a strict ethical code) and some people think I am mad. I see it as an incredible form of art - It took 80 hours of work to rebuild a Peacock for example, but it stands mounted now and a proud achievement to me, and an ode to the deceased animal in my opinion - but some don't see it the same way. This piece is a funny, potentially crude but very well composed piece, that leaves some open to the imagination and also what we think we can see or is happening. This is the kind of art I like the most, great work :)

thank you- I appreciate your art form. I think if the truth were told, life drawing is one of the most difficult parts of art. There is always a poor turn out at Art college, it is so much more fun to chuck paint all over the place, it requires a lot of discipline. Because I have been at it for a long time, I turn my life drawing into a number of different types of work.. patterns, abstract etc but continue to go to life drawings..
