Ah Susan you may have cursed us now and this will be the harbinger of summer, the leaves will start to fall any minute and it'll be goodbye summer! haha. I'm optimistic as I've still seen a few roses not quite in full bloom yet here, anyway.....A lovely shot and well spotted specimen by yourself in the park of this bright pink rose in bloom, the petals looking a little sorry for themselves, and a smaller one emerging just behind, still to fully open. The clarity is great, as is the lighting, capturing the detail in the petals, surrounding leaves and the yellow stamen well. The short DOF creates a good blurred green background which contrast nicely with the subject itself - a lovely shot, well done :)

Well have a fantastic time away and get lots of great snaps of weird bugs and the like!! I'm going away too for a week, just in the caravan for my birthday to see where the wind takes us so shall hopefully have some decent images to share too! :)

A poignant & melancholic nature image!
As if these two last blooms bid goodbye to a summer season.

Simple yet elegant with its Harmonious colors.
Sharply focused.
Fine floral features & velvety soft textures.

Subtle illumination.
Ideal off centered framing.

Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
