This is an great macro photo of this wasp! The sharpness is excellent showing great detail in the head and the tiny strands of hair. The light and colors are wonderful.

Wow! What a detailed photograph of this menacing insect. I never realized that they had fuzzy hairs on the head and chest areas. The lighting is great, the angle interesting and the details superb.

This is simply an amazing capture. I cannot stop studying the detail that you have captured in with photo.
The initial impact for me is the yellow bg that compliments the wasp in every way. The colors and detail of the wasp are not oversaturated or overly contrasted. And your yellow is completely controlled in saturation. That in itself is a huge success. I would love to know more about your settings and your edits..if any. As this is an award winning capture...and a pleasure to view. Excellent!

This is simply an amazing capture. I cannot stop studying the detail that you have captured in with photo.

Many thanks for your kind review and comments - much appreciated. This was taken with a Canon 350D DSLR with a 90mm Tamron lens and a 2 x teleconverter. f5.6, ISO 100. Post processing was only a little darkening to defuse the yellow background and a little sharpening for definition - That's it!!
