This is definitely a good story telling piece. We can tell it is a shipwreck.
Your red moon is so nice, very well done.
Your ship and the water is spot on.
Nice piece, thanks for sharing.

Nice use of poetry to enhance an otherwise awesome image.

Great composition with the moon being where it is.
The floating barrels add drama to the scene.

I love the lantern casting light on the bow of the ship.

All very well done.

Wonderful initial impact and great contest entry. The night looks very mysterious and you want to study it closer to see what is going on. Good placement of the moon and reflections in the water. The composition works with the ship and the water reflections. Great job and good luck in the contest.

Its the time when the ghost ships arrive from the fog. I thought immediately of the Flying Dutchman, but at closer look it seems the Island of the man-eating sirens from the Odyssey. I like how this is composed. The ships aren't there long, The sails are not in tatters jet and a lantern is still burning, but the ships look abandoned. It seems no man is left on board.
I like how the scenery is illuminated by the lantern and the blood moon. The diagonal confrontation of the ship's and the moon is interesting. For me its indicate that the ships were drawn by the moon without a chance to withstand the magic. It is a perfect illustration of the poem.
