Wow! What a wonderful painting and the notes explaining the process of creation (Clap! Clap!).I like this work because it is so classical in its concept and execution and in its atmosphere; The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good luck!

Thank you for your five vote and your comments. I missed that one in the planning and production of this piece. I had no idea I was creating a "classical" painting. Others have made the same or similar comments. Thank you.

Aptly created for the contest theme!

Monochromatic colors with fine facial features and smooth textures...
Well built leg masculine muscles!

Great shadow...
Thanks & good luck!

Thank you for your five star vote and your comments. I just hope she doesn't read your remarks about her legs. I did not thin them down into the stylized accepted view of beauty. I kept true to her natural beauty.

Wow! For a first you did fantastic. The figure is graceful and anatomically correct. You did a great job on the lighting in both the background and the figure. The sheer sections are superb. Kudos for going out of your comfort zone. You did great!

Wow - The details are exemplary in this oil. The body tone - bone, muscle, facial expression... Nice!! Such realism. I further really appreciate and respect your ability to create movement in the skirt. The colors are vibrant and yet the subject (dancer) stands out in such a brilliant way. Beautiful! I admire your talent. Kathy
