Hi Anon

What a lovely and clever entry into this contest. Alas, I am out of sixes as this deserves one for its originality alone. Excellent stuff and I wish you all the best in the contest. It would be great if you could post a close-up of the final image sometime. R

    Raoul D'Harmental,
Thank you for having taken the time to look and then write me with you opinion on my work and
presentation. All of you time in doing so is appreciated.
The painting is done using Acrylic paint.
The canvas is broken up in squares and then each square is painted individually, in the end to become a cohesive piece of artwork.
I think the presentation shows the style and intent of pointillism in this painting. I will post a larger version of the finished painting once the contest is over.

I like the way you showed the stages of the creation of this piece. What a great idea for all of us to do from time to time. The finished product is super and worth every penny you are asking.

I have been looking at this one off and on then decided to take a close look. What an interesting way to show the progression of a painting on one canvas. Impressive. Bluntly, I do not have the patience to do pointillism. Other than this demonstration recorded in this manner, this is a very nice painting. I think all artists enjoy vertical landscapes while the buying public prefers horizontal landscapes. I enjoy looking at the multilevel presentation of the land and the foreground tree is beautiful. I can't help but to believe this particular picture is a computer program manufactured of all the stages of the painting. It alone is impressive. Reasons for my five vote.

    Artist Carl,
not a computer generated painting, I took shots as I went through the process of painting it.

a good presentation and very interesting narrative with it and to think you have used similar style to that of monet is very encouraging. The colours used are very effective for that particular theme as Monet also found out in a lot of his landscape works

Isn't this excellent. Progression is important to show the artists work. Your work is beautiful; from start, to finish. A lot of work went into this creation, and it is apparent that you are willing to go the extra mile.

Nicely done.
I like that you showed the progression of the piece. It gives us a glimpse of your process.
The result is a nice autumn scene. Full of fall harvest colors and quite bucolic.
Thank you for sharing.
