Thanks you so much. I recommend you start with pastels...they are easier to correct. 😂

This is a beautiful scene in pastels of the sunset at the beach. I like how the grasses frame your foreground with the many shade of color in the sky from the sun. I love this classical beach scene with the birds in the sky. Your use of colors adding to the beauty of your scene. An excellent composition with good contrast and nice movement in your image. This is a creative and talented art work. Thanks for sharing.

The color combinations are lovely and give this image some gorgeous depth. I like how you have mixed the colors, especially in the water and how you created a golden sky reflection with a glistening effect on the surface.

Interesting composition forcing the viewer to look at the bottom and then at the top and vice a versa by placing that purple horizon line in the center of the canvas. Excellent application of the pastels with the color overlays and fine lines. I enjoy the faded colors in the sky and the stronger colors in the lake and ground fields. The tall weeds growing from the bottom into the sky actually unifies the scene. The birds coming in for a landing is charming. This is a "different" kind of landscape. It has energy. Took awhile for me to find the words. I like it. Reasons for my five vote.

A beautiful drawing that captures the serenity of the scene very well. I like the rendering of the sky and its reflection on the water. Nicely composed with a great foreground and the three birds are superb.

The foreground plants work well to balance and add interest. The colors harmonize well and are soft giving this artwork a very nice calm, serene painting. Very nice to look at. Karen
