Your garden is full of so many exciting experiences of nature at work and this is a superior example of that for us to enjoy. Plus the combination of the purple asters with the orange bees makes a striking artistic statement on this beautifully composed and technically very well done shot. Love the notes as always, Deb.

Now I just love purple flowers and when they are accompanied by two uniquely colored bees...well I'm just in heaven. This is a wonderful scene and the bees make you have to look.

A beautiful shot. I especially like the soft asters in the background. The bumblebees are shown in very fine detail and the cropping is perfect.

Been off line for a while dealing with lots of stuff. Good to be back. Gonna post something soon to a contest, but can't tell you what since that would be unfair :-)

Deborah,
A wonderful picture of this pair of Bombus Ternarius busy gathering pollen & maybe nectar from the lavender blue coloured Asters in the sunshine hi lighting their glossy wings & orange striped abdomens. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
I've not seen bees like this as this species is not found in irland but in America.

This is the most unique bee that I have ever seen. Sadly, I can't even think of a cute quip for the name of the flower. Must be too tired...lol.

What a vibrant and colorful image. I can't begin to describe what I am feeling. The focus and framing are superb. Colors are amazing. Focus and details sharp. Well done, my friend.

Isn't it Paul! I only see them for a couple of weeks late Sept/Oct but am always sure to spend some time photographing them. So nice to have you do the first review for my new piece and I so appreciate the wonderful review (even w/o a cute quip) and especially the extra sparkle. Thank you so much!! Now get some rest...lol
