What a wonderful piece of metal-art. It does not matter if the two pieces have a slight variation in clarity. You have presented them very well. . The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

"Horseman, pass by". A very fine image with a distinct difference between the two doors. The swan handles are fantastic and the alignment of the images is perfect.

    Mike,
Thanks a million for your great review. If you look at Supergold /Fred's remarks you will be able to read the Poem by Yeats the Swans appear. I will post the grave to morrow. It's a pity one door was open so I had to take the two photos to make one.

Wow those are beautiful door handles. Makes me feel like they are huge and the doors as well. Wouldn't they make a wonderful wall or patio decoration. Nice work I like the tight frame with no distractions. Well done.

Oh gosh this is well taken Susan and interesting to view...and I must say, quite beautiful.

I like the crop and the technical elements are really well done.

Sligo was a place our friends went to retire. They left warm warm Mexico where they were living and decided on Sligo. They didn't last long ha ha ha ha ha....to cold.

Yes Sligo would be both colder & damper than Mexico BUT its a lot warmer than Alaska at the same latitude north.

I thought it was taken together; excellent collage;
very strange door handles, never seen before; but the reason is obvious:
----------------------
Leda and the Swan
W. B. Yeats, 1865 - 1939
A sudden blow: the great wings beating still
Above the staggering girl, her thighs caressed
By the dark webs, her nape caught in his bill,
He holds her helpless breast upon his breast.

How can those terrified vague fingers push
The feathered glory from her loosening thighs?
And how can body, laid in that white rush,
But feel the strange heart beating where it lies?

A shudder in the loins engenders there
The broken wall, the burning roof and tower
And Agamemnon dead.
Being so caught up,
So mastered by the brute blood of the air,
Did she put on his knowledge with his power
Before the indifferent beak could let her drop?

A SIX Start rating for this wonderful review...I knew it was connected with Yeats but do not know the Poem
I will now look it up. Merci beaucoup mille fois.

I think you did a super job of matching the doors. Perhaps it takes a photographer's eye to discern the issue you were concerned about. The doors are unique and interesting.
