Your composition is spot on....and the vastness of your photography leads the viewer through the frame. What a site to behold....I find myself studying this expansive scene. A nice balance of two-thirds foreground to one-third sky work well too, as does your framing. I like the capture of the lone boat and the impact of the falls with the mist of water spraying. Your focus, lighting, clarity, contrast are all good. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

I really like how the view shows the enormity of this place. The boat puts the size of the water and landscape into perspective. Your capture of the power behind the water and the spray of the falls is very nice.

Beautifully captured shot. I love the curve starting in the bottom left and then up and away to the right. Nice composition! The horizon is nice and straight and the lighting just about right.

Beautiful high vista of Horseshoe Falls and tourist boat. Everything sharp revealing not only the falls but all the white water and steep high cliffs. River is so wide, almost a strait. Thank You for sharing.

I was their once, lovely picture, Niagara falls, the Los Vegas of Canada, it looks small from your vantage point, so it is a good thing to have the boat for proportion

Having visited the falls a number of times I know this was taken from one of the hotels that have wonderful views of the falls.

What I remember the most however was the thunderous sound that comes from the falls. Nice shot!

Awesome!

Nik,
A wonderful stop action picture of the Horseshoe Falls &
at Niagara with the tourist boatcoming out from under the falls& the mist they cause as the water falls over the cliff. The white fast flowing river above the falls at full spate. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

It looks like this was shot from an elevated perspective, but I am not really familiar with the geography of the falls. It is in any event a very nice shot that clearly shows the mist that the tour boat was named for.
