The thing that makes this a good flower photograph, its all healthy, the contrast of the light pink to the dark green leaves. And the rhythm of the full picture very nice.

Very nice work, Barbara. I like how the flower is sideways and not the typical head on shot. That makes it more unique looking. The bright pink pops against the green. Lots of great detail in the flower. I love how the edges of the photo gradually blur out, as this pulls your eye to the center. Nice job.
