The dappled light on his back creates so much interest and shows off the variety of feathers you captured in this shot. The intentness of his expression makes me think he is hunting for food.

Eileen you ALWAYS come up w/ THE best titles for your pieces...lol love this one.
I like the 'from behind' presentation. Nice crisp focus. Your little thinker is well detailed from the tip of that crazy long beak on down through tail feathers....and, of course, your timing couldn't have been better catching him (her?) w/ head jauntily cocked like that.
Beautiful color of feathers- especially that steel grey....looks very natural. Nothing over done and I ALWAYS appreciate that. Your image is nicely cropped and exposure is spot on as well. Even a sparkle in that eye.
Nicely put together piece here Eileen....well presented in a natural setting. Oh and not sure if I've mentioned that I like your profile pic. Cute kitty. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
