Very colorful and imaginative! Another great vibrant offering; can just hear"you wouldn't know what to do with her if you got her!" But he's just too "twiterpated"to hear. Maybe in time he "Ken"come to his "scent"ses!

Got it....I'm on the ball this morning ha ha ha ha.

Would not have minded a bit more marginal space on the right to balance the image , but that flower could be leaping into the frame...ay?

Always you bring a morning smile to my face.

Mark,
Hehe! This is great.
I loved all the ones you did with the daisy in Barbie's dream car.
You drew her good down to the arm lines. :P You did the body proportion good -- large boobs small waist. :P
Could you send your address again? I have all the gifts and ready to mail, just it will be erased in my inbox. Thanks.
I hope they like My Pony and Ninja Turtles.

They are appreciative kids..I believe they will tickled that it came from the writer of Flower Power.. they have ask me can they show it to the kids at school whenever I post it. I have been like a hermit for the last month working And drawing my tail off. I cant wait for this month to be over so I get started on the editing of the video. I have another writer wanting me to do 19 illustrations for her new book. Told her I had to get this done before I can even think about hers. Hope I don't lose that one it's a paying gig but I keep my commitments..wink. she acted like she appreciates my commitment . I'll send ya the address on the pm tonight when I get off of work. I'm working till 10pm. Thanks for the great review

Mark, this one is different for you. You have an actual person in it. I find it to be very humorous as the one flower has hearts in his eyes and is lusting over the Barbie character. The other flower is scolding him and telling him to knock it off and behave himself. I'd say that flower is probably his mother or maybe his girlfriend. Anyway, this is very cute and I gave it a 6 star because of the creativity and humor.

Thanks Karen. Let me tell ya lil something about myself. Just over the last 6 years I have done about 1000 drawings. The "Funnie Flowers" cartoon series is only about 400 of that. Not only did I do many illustrated music videos but was lucky to have some of my work appear in the sharpie sponsor music video that was aired on the MTV Movie Awards aired back in September, 2012. Worked with different writers on illustrations. "Funnie Flowers" series was born here on FAR a few years. Folks still have a hard time accepting my medium. See I don't work with a art medium. Mine is a office medium that I have self taught and practice with for 50 years now. Really if you do go to YouTube.com and search my name and check out "don't stop believing" or maybe "rocking with sharpie and bic" you will see I have worked with sharpie/Bic illustrations of people than drawing flower cartoons. Seems like the flowers is what the majority folks really pay attention to. Hey that's life. You will see a change starting next month. When I finish this tight race between shesadri and me for 1st. I will finish the promo video for the writer Rasmine for the story "Flower Power" the world's first flower super hero. Then I have another writer who I had to out till next month to do a children's illustration about a lil girl discovering the wonders of the outside world of plants, insects and animals..that will be 18 illustrations for that book. I have always said this " you are what you are from your last post". Right now folks think all I draw is flower cartoons. Wink wink.. thanks for the great review

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, as I wanted to have the time to check out some of your videos. I did and they are very impressive. I watched three of them, but I couldn't find the rocking with the sharpie and bic one. Anyway, the three I saw were very good. A lot of drawings and hard work went into them. I guess you could say I did something similar in my career as an artist. Years ago my ex-husband and I had a video production studio and did a lot of commercials and infomercials. I was the one that had to do all the storyboarding for the clients approval. I also worked as a court artist. That was a tough one because you can't see the facial features in detail and they are constantly moving about....so, you kind of have to make up stuff.
I was also curious as to how they move you up here in the ratings. Are they counting how many 5's you get or 6's? I just saw someone move up 32 spaces...does that mean they got 32 6's on one artwork? I have no clue...just curious. I'm a big fan of your work...keep them coming.

number of reviews and yes the 6's give you more points than 5's. see this is what is unfair to the artist. a cartoonist can crank out many works before the artist can finish theirs. course i know seshadri does a painting then finish it out with digital so they would call it mix media traditional art. giving him a advantage to go as fast as i can . i really feel they should segregate us cartoonist from the artist in the rankings. only cause how the scoring system works. oh btw i use to be up the food chain in management and got lucky that the owner of a company i was working for to offer me to chance to do commercials for the company. they were cable inserts to shown in our different location areas....yep i got in the front of camera many a times..wrote out the scripts and worked with the cables editors on the direction..did a total of 35 of them. i did live radio remotes as well..to many i dont remember ow many....wink.

Their varied facial expressions never failed to amuse the viewers, I'm sure...

Funny creation but still cute.
Fine crisp & clear outlines.
Nice reference to the cutest doll in the world--Barbie!

Thanks for sharing!

LOL. This reminds me of the Generals' aid at Ft. Sill. Lt. Mahoney. She was a knock out....and knew it. We called he "Phony Mahoney". Some saw her as a Barbie. Others saw her as a Barney. She and I had one thing in common: NOTHING. So much for the Generals' Aid. Great work Mark ~ Top
