This is beautiful photography of the Nativity Scene. Merry Christmas to you and yours! I like your border and how it's accentuates your Christmas Photography. Your focus, lighting, clarity, and contrast are excellent. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest!

A very nicely composed image. I like the canvas texture in the background and think the colors are great and the figurines are well placed.

Nice creation. The background look is medieval. One of the girls looks like she is in the tropics. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this imsge.

Pamela,
Thanks a million for your complementary review. The figurines are of Mary & Joseph with the infant Jesus, on their left a shepherd with two sheep, on their right two of the three Magi/ Wise-men/ Kings one holding a red Macaw the other a pot of gild or honey & at their feet a Llama. They come from Peru & were bought in France.

Good photo. I love your background, that just makes the photo. It makes it seem that this took place in France, though, and not Bethlehem. Just joking, this is fine.
Merry Christmas.

Such cute little statues Susan....are they ceramic?? It's a very nice entrant for this contest.
Focus on them is nice and crisp....every detail clearly visible. Color is good...as is exposure. Curious why you chose a French village to put behind them?? Although it actually does seem quite appropriate now that I look again. Nicely presented. Best of luck w/ it in the contest.

Deborah,
Thanks a million for your complementary detailed review. Yes the figures are terracotta made in Peru. I bought them in St Omer, in the North of France. The reason why I placed the picture of la Bollene Visube is because it a picture I've had for a long time bringing back happy memories of a visiting cousin's who live there. My mother was born in Nice so part of my heart is still there.

awwww...well that's the best reason for putting it there then Susan...and it matches well anyway. Very welcome for the review and thank you for satisfying my endless curiosity.

Comment from Life is but a dream.
Susan, it's perfect. Did you buy this from somewhere in Guatemala as the hats of the wise men remind me of head wear from that area?
The star of Bethlehem is bright, the scene is well contrasted and this is (to me) what Christmas is all about...or as they say "the reason for the season".
Wishing you and yours a blessed Christmas, thank you for your friendship through all these years and may your new year not only bring you good health and happiness but plenty of photo ops.
Merry Christmas

Olga,
Thanks a million for your great review on my Peruvian Crib that I bought in St Omer in northern France not far from Calais,
I was attracted to it as it was so different & NOT made of moulded plastic copies of Italian Ceramics (that fail to convince me) I loved the grinning Llama (replacing the Donkey) & the Red Macaw held by one of the Magi I'm not too sure of what the other two Magi are holding a decorated pot of "What gold or Honey" & a long black instrument or stick?
Thanks too both for your friendship understanding & great review. I hope you have a VERY Happy Christmas & New Year & that next year will bring you good health, some wealth, much happiness & plenty of Photo opertunities.
Susan
