Still life, for me, is very challenging. You, obviously, are highly skilled with it! Love the rich red and glossy reflection from the lighting. The added gray makes the bowls NOT float, which is good!

A very simple and striking composition - winter time white background reminding snow - your bowls are excellent in sharpness - reality impression - well placed in relation to each other and well placed in this frame
your shadow and light application is well placed and the streams bring life into the still life scene
I think this is a nice color composition - a very harmonious work - makes me smile no idea why loll

You have framed these ceramic bowels beautifully with that swirling background. I took one ceramic class in my first semester in college. I liked the people in my class but I did not really like working with the clay. These are beautifully made though and I love the colors of them. This must have bee a great buy for your home. Your focus, framing, and lighting of these bowls are all very good. Well done and thanks for sharing this with us :)

Your bowls are spot on crisp w/ really wonderful colors that you have shown perfectly. The image is well exposed and the little trio is placed just right in the frame. I also like the way you've framed your background w/ the narrow black border.
Not so sure about the background though and have been trying to figure out what it is as your backgrounds are always gorgeous and show off whatever it is you are photographing perfectly....and I think that may be the issue here. It's almost as if the bowls don't 'go' w/ the background this time. Perhaps it's the starkness of the white behind those fabulous saturated bowl colors. Can't quite put my finger on it AV but it definitely does NOT detract from the beauty of the bowls themselves or how nicely you've presented them.
