What a lovely winter scene,
the snow on the tree looks like a small waterfall cascading downward behind its covered branches, Excellent framing and wonderful detail in this beautiful monochromatic shot.

The timing of this shot was exquisite. It is impressive how the snow falls down. The photo gives the impression of looking out from a window of a snowed in cabin deep in the woods. The photo has good natural coloring and well defined details. It is also nicely framed.

My Qurbecois Grandma would tell us that snow blowing off the fir trees like this meant that a lot more snow was on the way!
While I've noticed over the course of my life that that isn't always the case (thankfully ) I can understand how the theory came about!

While I've noticed over the course of my life that that isn't always the case (thankfully ) I can understand how the theory came about!

Your photo is of course also nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the trees. I also think the exposure is very good.
