What a spectacular looking flower! It is amazing how tall they are and yet their petals are so small. You captured the color nicely and the framing off to the side helps to show off the dramatic features.

This is a flower I have never seen. It almost looks like a firework. The framing is nice and you can see all the details of the flower. The background with tones of dark brown highlight the flower and make it pop. Nice work.

I have never seen an ixoria plant and am intrigued by this exotic looking plant.
Nicely focused, good composition and colours are great.
Lots of buds; the open flower is pretty, looks like a star.

Maybe you're too close to the subject beyond your cam's focusing range...or this was not really focused sharply yet...

Did you notice that there is only one flower and the rest are all buds or flowers to be. I like that aspect of this photo. It is like the open flower is the leader. I enjoyed this photo. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
