This is a solemn and elegant sight to behold. I like the crispness of texture in the petals that stands out so nicely in the shadows and folds of the flower.

A beautiful & very fitting memorial to the victims of the tragedy that occurred on 11th September 2001 shaking both America & the World as we watched it happening on TV.. Artistic & very beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

beautiful but simple white rose, very good focus and clarity to capture each individual petal with fine detail, it stands out nicely against the black back ground,

I am so glad you managed to take a photo of this beautiful white rose with your photo. It is impossible to see that this wasn't done by a camera. The deep blue background is perfect for the rose to stand out in an excellent way.
Your focus on the rose is spot on and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every petal. I also think the exposure is perfect.
I like the way you have cropped the photo, and the rose has got a very good placement a bit off to the left. I think this is a touching, beautiful and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
