Excellent choice of subject with an realistic easel & canvas plus painting materials!
Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
But why crop the feet?
If you crop, crop more below his left knee but not at the joints or tips so the viewer would know that you really want to crop them!
Impressive setting.
Bright lighting so better tone down a bit as there are blown out spots!
Use a smaller opening if the sunlight is harsh already or a wider opening but very fast speed!
Sharply focused.
Fine features & textures.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for this inspiring review. I guess, I want to increase focus of the face, but I can also opt to include the feet.
Maybe, tomorrow.

Enhance saturation a bit to darken the overblown spots. Use smaller openig if sunlight is too harsh already.
Or a bigger aperture but very fast speed!

Lovely! When I first glimpsed your photo, I did a double take - thought it was a real person. I like the angle of the photo and the way you've cropped the picture to show not just the painter, but his painting.
