That's just too cute. He looks surprised and that big, fluffy tail looks like the newest hair style. Perfect entry for the contest with the great focus giving a good look at his big eyes, fur and little paws with the perfectly balanced stance on the gate. Thanks for sharing.

You captured such a cute pose with his tail showing over his head and his little paws together. I also like the tiny its of snow on his nose and whiskers. The colors and textures look great.

this is superb. what a photo.. you really have captured this delightful little squirrel at his best.. what a pose. It's just as you say.. he's deep in thought... and one wonders what about.... such fine detail of his fur and tail.. got to love the little arms and the way he holds them closely to his body.
Brilliant photography in every way Well balanced portrait amid the tree trunks. thanks for sharing.. great job. cheers mel

Very cute little red squirrel and great contest entry. He is sitting there with his little hands folded as if he is posing for you. You have captured his details well. The background trees give it depth and an interesting look. Nice work.

Oh my this dude is just way too cute! His front paws close together up front against his chest, the the teeny tiny bits of snow on his nose and bits of fur are crisp and sharply focused.
Exposure eye clarity, DOF and Superb white balance control.
Adorable capture!
Good luck!
