Yes, it does have some orange. I like the pink, green and yellow coming out bright. Kind of like a little heart; Wow, all that peach fuzz around it; good background to make it stand out; wonderful focus; nice and bright; good highlighting. Very nice job. Keep 'em coming.

It IS a fuzzy little thing isn't it swimmer. The blossom btw, looks much more orange-red once it's fully open. As always, I really appreciate your generosity w/ one of my pieces. Thank you so much for the fine review and most excellent rating for this one.

It IS a bit unusual isn't it MK?? ....it's all those crazy little hairs I think. Do appreciate you having a look at this one too and thank you for another fine review.

Oh how I admire your dedication to showcasing the pre-flowering stages of your garden specimens, Deb. This is a superb example of that. Perfectly captured with your signature night time lighting. The details on the casing are amazing with every little fuzzy hair clear and distinct. What also makes this stand out is that you chose a stage with an enticing glimpse of the flower to come. Combined with your notes, another great horticultural lesson. Sorry no more sixes left. Ed.

Very nice shot. What did you use as a light source for this? You have captured the "hairy shell totally. The orange flower oozing out of the bud can be interpreted in many ways. Well imagined and shot.

A couple of heavy duty flashlights Charles. One of those that uses the big, heavy duty battery is my main source of light in the evening. Thank you so much for checking out my new piece. Do appreciate the very fine review you've given it.

I love your lessons I get to learn. This is so cool, and to know that a flower is going to bloom from this is so nice.
I am going to have to look this up and maybe draw this flower. I love Georgia O'Keefe and some of her has rubbed off on me.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing.

Deborah,
A beautiful picture of this large Red Oriental Poppy bud bursting to open & reveal the red petals under the bursting bud protecting cover in the light of your touch. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

We have some yellow annuals that have just come in again. Most of the year, the plants look dead. They are not there very long before they die. So, I think they can't be daffodils. Thank you for sharing. I liked seeing the hairy cocoon that protected the flower before it made its entry into the world. Nice composition. Well framed. Sharp image. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Could be DAFFODILS Pam....they're not a very long lasting blossom....and it's about the right time of year for them you know. Do appreciate the fine review you've given this piece. Thank you so much.

Hey,rather than ramble on and on about my fascination with Poppys or about my ideas concerning that O'Keefe woman I'll just tell ya that I'm really enjoying your colorful presentation of this pleasantly unusual specimen!
It definitely makes for a 'Good Show',my friend!
