I'll bet the squirrels just love you for providing them with this special treat ! I buy large bags of these for the Steller Jays ! Well focused, the image is clear, well exposed , natural color tones, nice detail ..

MEG....I swear! I have taken a photo of peanuts as well (but they are in bags)....we sure think alike and I see by your profile that our backgrounds are similar.

Yes, simple and strong and you had to be careful not to blow out detail. The clarity filter always adds a bit more dark and mid tones and it works here.

I will try to put up my peanuts for you tomorrow as it is night time here.

You might have to fight off the bluejays. There is nothing that bluejays like better than peanuts. A nice shot with very fine details and natural colors.

Thank you. Yes there is a Blue Jay that comes around too. He is very loud and the squirrels let him get his share.

Interesting composition. I think you inspired me to seriously get a bird feeder that the squirrels can also eat out of. My brother-in-law had a squirrel outside he named Peanut. He would put peanuts on top of his back fence and Peanut would come eat them. Sharp image. Well framed. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Thank you. We can have severe winter's with cold temps and snow so I think it helps to keep them away from the bird feeders.

A simple presentation in caring for the wildlife creatures.
Nice notes...

Filled up framing but informally scattered leaving some concrete spaces...

Sharply focused.
Fine features & rough textures.
Well lit.

Thanks for sharing...

Nice shot of a pile of peanuts. I do think it's those couple of cracked and broken ones that catch your eye. Your focus is sharp and clear. The peanuts are framed and arranged in a pleasing composition.
