What a lovely shot of this beauty and all its lines and sharp poise. I love the shallow depth of field in all its rich soft blends that compliment in the background as well as the texture of the tree's bark on the one side. Nice subtle lighting.

a great portrait of this nuthatch, the only bird I know off the hunts for food head first down a tree, great camera skills used to get the background out of focus and such details and textures in the bird, a pleasure to look at. thank you for sharing. dale

A very nice looking nuthatch in his typical head down position. The colors are very good and the catchlight in the eye is excellent. Very good details against a beautiful soft background.

This is lovely, a real nature shot of the little nuthatch on the tree bark, nice focus and clarity with great eye catch light, nice earthy tones,
Framing works really well with the downward natural pose of this little bird, nice one grace a great capture.

A nice one Grace. I like the eye popping colors and stark look of this. Great placement in the frame with the bark making a nice dramatic element. Great job Grace ~ Steve

I love these little guys as they scamper upside down on the trees. Stands out well from the background. The tree trunk adds just enough environment. The focus seem a little soft but not enough to make a problem. Well captured.
