This is really so cute.

I love the dog, looking over his shoulder to make sure that everything is going to be ok.

Those fish are cut and creepy all at the same time.

Great details in that cave and your little pirate.

Great job, thanks for sharing.

Very appealing, and immediately conjures up potential story lines by the boy of course, but also the dark cave and intriguing fish. Beautifully digitally rendered with vivid details that enhance the imagination. Great job!

Amazing what you have done creating this digital composition. Colors, composition, clarity and creativity all work very well here. Really like how well the picture is balanced, with the child at the center of things. Nicely done.

hi moonwillow thanks for sharing this delightful fantasy picture .. and your lovely notes to compliment its meaning . such an enchanting scene. I love the creation of the cave with its slightly rustic appearance and the lighting on the walls to add to its appeal. The dark cavity behind the boat adds excellent depth of field to the scene and makes me wonder what lies beyond. The mellow feeling in the picture certainly doesn't create a feeling that beyond is the even the least bit frightening. I love he little paper boat and the child in his pirate outfit sitting peacefully gazing into the water. The addition of the fish on the right is awesome . a nice touch of fantasy to greet the child as he drifts along. the fish on the left add great balance to the scene and a nice splash of colour in the water. You have created a well balanced scene that is most appealing to the eye , gives a pleasing , warm emotion and an air of mystery and intrigue. thanks for sharing your lovely work. a real joy to review. cheers mel

This drew me right in and took me back to my childhood, it could be an illustration of a storybook about this boy and his fantastic journey with his dog on a paperboat! I absolutely love this and if I had a six I would certainly award you with it.

This is a nice digital painting. I like the way you have done the walls and the boat with a big fish. The only thing that I would change is what is in front of the boy with a pirates hat. I could not see if it was a dog or not. Thanks for sharing.

"Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me - lads!"

You have recreated nearly every child's dream to sail off into an adventure of their own design.

The exaggerated sizes is necessary to set the story line and mood of this wonderful piece.

Colors are strong and earthy.

Contrast and lighting enhance the image and draw the viewer into this piece.

The positioning of the boy and the dog are so telling of this piece.

His is one of rapture and anticipation for the coming adventure. While the dog is one of "Is this trip really necessary?".

All the elements of this marvelous piece are in the right place and set with a whimsical perspective ... B-)) Bob
