Now this is what I think of when I hear the phrase cabin
in the woods. A perfect picture with a great perspective showing depth and clarity with awesome detail in the distance.
It would be a lovely place to stay surrounded by natures beauty.

A beautiful picture of the traditional log cabin in among the trees. I'm not sure if it's a fisherman seated beside the tree in the foreground dressed in a yellow waterproof coat rod in had or a manikin??? Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I like the way you have framed the little house. The eyes first rest on the nearest tree and then are drawn to the house. Lovely landscape shot! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Sharp image as usual for you. Log cabin looks rustic. I wonder what kind of trees are in the foreground. Their trunks do not look familiar. Nice composition. Well framed. My mother lived in a log cabin after I became an adult with a husband. There were bears and mountain lions there. My husband and I had to sleep in a small little building not attached to the cabin. I am one of those who makes bathroom runs several times nightly. I was so scared every time that a bear or cougar would get me. I had to walk about five yards to the cabin and five yards back. Pitch black. Just a camera. Well framed. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Thank you so much! The trees are tall spruce trees, oh my , I would be so scared to go to the bathroom in the dark where there could be bears and cougars!

Thanks so very much! Yes it?s a dummy, I saw it and first thought it was a real guy sitting there with his fishing pole! This house can be seen from the highway, I?m sure he wants to give the summer tourists something to look at as they drive by!
