No one else gets at the minute intricacies of flowers. The stamen and pistils are the stars here as you intended. However, for me, the piece immediately comes across as other worldly where the petals are like flames and the stamens and pistils are reaching out to escape the flames. Very evocative. Still a great flower shot, but sometimes I like to go beyond the obvious :). Ed.

A remarkable shot that should have been entered in the macro flowers contest. The composition is beautiful and the detail in the stamens is outstanding as are the colors.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is a cyber 6 for sure. It has a big initial impact and grabs your attention. The colors are so stunning, especially the deep blue center against the orange and gold tones. The framing is wonderful. You should have entered into some contest as it would surely grab the prize.

A beautiful picture of this honey coloured Tiger Lily with it's iridescent green blue stamens curved around the pistil in it's centre beautifully illuminated by your torch against the dark background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Great looking shot!. Fine example of flower photography. The clarity of the image is good. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!
