Do they know what's causing it?? I'm feeling better....thank you for asking. Soooo anxious for spring....and no more snow...lol Always get pretty antsy this time of year.

some kind of bug bite, I can't wait for spring either, it was 60s for 2 days then 5 inchs of wet snow, know that is almost gone and I just head maybe 1-2 tomorrow, I just want it to be gone so I can get out on my scooter and take pictures, might get a chance to get to a zoo the end of march, plus a place that has indoor flowers on Thursday, can't think of what it called. Have a great day, dale

This is just lovely, very well focused, the image is clear, nice detail in the petals , nice detail in the center of the Cosmos , nice angle of capture, giving us a face on view. Separates well from background. Very well presented in the low light .

Just love the way my flowers look after dark Pat.....surprisingly, especially the white ones. Do appreciate you having a look and thank you for the very fine review you've given my new piece.

Ah, your white flowers at night. What could be better. The shape and definition of those petals has been captured perfectly, Deb, with super nuances of light and shadow. The fabulous center glows like a beacon in contrast with pinpoint detail. Together a joy to behold against the dark evening background. Ed.

awwww....you are so kind dear Ed. I may try to crop this one differently....or better yet, photograph the new ones I will grow this season so I can give it a calendar page for 2019. Stunning details. First, thank you for your notes. Amazing shot at night with clear focus. Very good cropping and framing. I like white flowers in the garden to brighten all the colors. It seems to draw the eye closer. I think I'll ask my garden center for some of these to plant. The petals look like fairy wings. So pretty.

These are one of the easiest and hardiest annuals I grow Linda. You should DEFINITELY find a place to get some (or start them yourself from a packet of seeds) You'd love them in your gardens I'm sure. Thank you so much for giving this guy such a marvelous review and rating. I do really appreciate the extra star as well. btw- photograph them if you decide to grow them!

I always check out the Title first . I believe it's a huge part of the piece .
Many times the hook .
For me , it has to mesh , to fit , to work and it does !
Nicely Done !
Amazing notes with history and background on your subject .
Just enough .
No rambling .
Nice job .
Now for the desert.
It's a well balanced and composed piece . As always your focus and clarity are spot on .
Thank you for shooting !

Very perceptive of you John. Title is always the first thing I look at too.....it's a lot more important I think than some artists may realize, don't you think? Now...as for the dessert....lol....great way to refer to my little COSMOS here btw....love it and so pleased you liked it too. Thank you so much for the well thought out review and especially for the most excellent rating. I do really appreciate it.

Cosmo Kramer , peace and order . So funny and ironic .
The title is major component .
My view on artist notes for the traditional artist are give the viewer a tidbit . It kills me when I read notes that explains everything in a a painting and mean everything . If I have to do that then I feel I've failed the viewer .

This is such a lovely image as I am surrounded by 10" of snow! Thank you for giving me some " spring". Nice graceful beauty. So very well detailed. I agree white flowers are beautiful in their own right.
Very nicely framed.
Thank you for warming me up with thoughts of spring.

Oh there's probably 2' of snow still on the ground here too Monica. I like to 'pretend' it's late spring or early summer myself though...lol Glad to hear my new piece gave you a shot of spring time too. Thank you so much for the lovely review. Do appreciate it.

Well shot and presented image. Good detail and focus throughout. I do think you could brighten this up a little without losing anything. That will just enhance some of the details. Well seen and well shot.

Do appreciate your thoughts here Charles. Thank you for the really fine review too. Was trying to show this blossom exactly as I saw it in my gardens.....always a bit tricky when I photograph them after dark.

A great capture of this white cosmos flower in full bloom with sharp clarity and detail throughout, showing the fine intricacies of the details on the petals and also the shape and depth of each one which looks astonishing. The stamen is just a detailed with it's bright and tightly compacted yellow buds, like little gems all gathered together. The dark and blurred b/g accentuates the piece further and overall a splendid composition, great work :)

Isn't the Cosmos the most extraordinary flower and this is a stunning capture. Beautifully written artists notes...and thank you for that. Your choice of night photography work well here.....brings this white Cosmo to life. Your good light handling and spot on sharp focus reveal good details on the stamen and petals of this photography. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

I couldn't agree more Mary Lynn. I love them and aren't they just the easiest flower to grow?? I'm thinking of planting an entire bed of these white ones this season.....endless fun w/ my night-time photography then. You are a dear for checking out my new piece and giving it such a wonderful review. Thank you so much.....and always nice to hear you've enjoyed my notes.
