What a great photo to be able to capture. How funny that he is smelling a weed. I wonder if the weed has an appealing smell to it. It's funny how this weed would capture this big bull's attentions. Thanks for sharing.

An interesting (though perhaps not the most flattering) perspective. I like the colors and the crisp detail in the bull. Best of luck in the contest.

A word to the wise, take out that part about this being a "non edited photo ...". While your at it, better move and get an unlisted phone number.

Why? Well, your gonna get hate mail and threatening calls for capturing a high quality photograph without medium to crushing post processing finagling.

You dared to learn how to transfer the mental picture stored in your consciousness precisely into the digital world and resisted the allure of the clarity, vibrancy, levels and curves sliders. Is this an act of courage, foolhardiness or talent.

From what I see here the latter is the case. Your skills and presence of mind have produced a pure photograph. This is the very essence of photography - to capture images that accurately represent the world and all that is in it.

I love the colors of this piece - balanced and right for time and place.

Nice even lighting like this makes everything look better.

I can not find any one aspect of this marvelous piece that poses an issue ... B-)) Bob

Omg I was so scared until I read forther. Wow you just amazed me with your comments. I actually do a lot of photos and not edit them because if i do I feel they are ruined. Are you serious that I should remove this ?unedited? from my post.

Thank you full heartedly for your comments. I?m simply overwhelmed

Do not remove "unedited", wear it like a badge of honor. Today to many shooters have become slaves to post production digital enhancement.

I was only trying to express my appreciation for a shooter who knows to get life like natural photographs at the time of capture. I hope I did not offend. Your photo is so good, it is honest and a welcome breath of fresh air ... B-))

Well, sometimes a bull can't be choosy over what he sniffs at! Your fine full and central composition shows us in fine detail what a magnificent animal he is. Sharpness and exposure are fine. Good luck!

Nice shot. There are some flowers on the weed so it qualifies. Where I come from we would say this is a shot of "the south bond end of a north bound cow." It is a beautiful beast and I wouldn't want to get caught up in those horns. Well seen and well captured with a lot of detail.

Nicely framed in your square format. A good perspective and point of view. I like the expression captured on this Long Horns face capturing personality and character. Good light handling with sharp focus and good details. Superb eye clarity drawing the eye into your scene. A fine entry into the Farm Animals contest and good luck. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing.
