What I like the most about your photos is that you always make me want to be there. I would love to be walking along this beach right now or along the pier. I especially like the angle of the pier here and the clarity and lighting are excellent as well. Well done and thanks for sharing :)

Is this at low tide or is it always such a long way out to the water? The pier is attractive and I especially like the structures that support the lights. Very nice colors and a fine perspective on the pier.

Glad you enjoyed the shot! Taken at low tide. In winter the tide comes crashing in up against the coastline. Many thanks for your nice review!

That's indeed quite looooooooong!
Excellent choice of subject with sharply focused fine structures, features & textures.

Nicely presented in Diminishing perspective.
Impressive vanishing viewpoint.
Good use of negative foreground space for an off center, third grid line framing.
Subtle illumination.
Pin sharp focusing.
Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

Wow what a long peer almost or 3/4 of a mile and what a tide swing! Everything sharp and enjoy imagining depth of water at full tide! Also enjoy the arches that support the lights and wonder what peer looks like at night. Peer vanishes out into the sea giving great depth and would love to fish out there. Thank You for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed the photo! Your very kind review is much appreciated!! Looks good at night too. The arch lights come on and the pavilion building at the end is lit up.

Nik,
A great picture of this oldest iron Pier in England stretching out to sea almost as far as the eye can see over the golden sands & the Irish sea lit up at night by the lanterns held up by the white archways over the pier spaced down it's entire length. Above fluffy white clouds are flying across the heavens blown by the winds. Beautiful composition framing,& lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Cool shot. It obviously needs to be that long to account for the tides. It seems strange to see so much "land" below a pier. Good angle in the shot so that you get the full story. Well seen and well taken.

You are right. It is long. And quite attractive also. I especially like the light standards. Looks like a very nice p;laced to stroll on a nice day. Very nice composition, drawing the viewer all the way to the end. I would like to see it when the tide is in. Very nice work!
