You captured some nice detail in the snow and the depth of field was good. This gives a intimate feeling of being in this closed in spot by the snow.

Superb atmospherics you have captured here. The dog gives it the scale and the extent of snow fall! You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

First off, wow, what an intense amount of snow and how remarkable that the puppy is enjoying it more than most people! You have done a wonderful job getting every detail of the nature involed. I love this photo!

What a great photo of your dog and the snow. That is really hilarious of seeing him plow the snow. Your place is definitely in for a long slumber. I do miss the 4 seasons, even the snow since I live in the yucky desert. Blah. Good lighting, focus and cropping. Thank you for sharing.

Yeesh,Deb!
You guys up there in 'the Northeast Kingdom' really got clubbed with snow this time, didn't ya?
I wonder how next week's storm ( which they're already buzzing about! ) will leave us?
That's an interesting picture of Comanche doing some Snow Swimming', Deb!

LOL I think the Snow God either fell asleep and forgot to stop sending snow Sean or is really angry at us for something....lol ...and if the weatherman says nor'easter one more time I will scream! Anyway, do appreciate you having a look at my snowy piece and thank you for another really fine review. Now fingers crossed it's over for the season!

a great shot of Comanche ploughing through the snow..i can imagine Bruce and Herbert doing the same but actually not surfacing !! The photo itself is well taken with no over exposure whatsoever which enables the viewer to virtually feel the coldness of the snow through its crisp sharp focusing...like this image and its an unusual one for you debs..good to see you dog

Good thing she isn't any smaller, she would have needed a snorkel and mask. The picture really illustrates the story. Well controlled whites and color. Good leading lines. Well seen.

Seeing your beautiful dog in all of this snow just makes me want to give him a warm blanket, even though I know he is probably used to it. You did get quite a bit of everything I hear about the weather your way, so I'm sending you some warm thoughts and hope it doesn't persist too long. I'm seeing tulips emerging here and getting excited about them. Can't wait for you to be able to share it that excitement. Still a beautiful winter scene that Mother Nature has blanketed you with.
Stay Warm Deborah, it's just around the corner!
