The sharpness of this photograph is excellent as well as the exposure. I can quite well see the detail in the small branches. Well done.

You photographers get so many more reviews than do traditional artists. Some really good artists can only get 8-12 reviews. Not enough to be recognized. You are an exception but most photographers will only review photography. There are 2-3 times as many photographers on this site as there are artists. Thank you for listening. This is a beautiful photo. I love the pastel sky and the trees look magical. Image is sharp. Thank you fir sharing.

Oh I feel kinda guilty Pam. I don't review nearly as many traditional art pieces as I do photos but I DO try to do a few. I'll have to do my part to keep better track of trad. art pieces- promise. Do appreciate you checking out my piece here and thank you for the fine review. You know- maybe you should bring this up in the forum??? That's one way to alert more people to the fact that you don't feel trad. art gets the same attention?? It's a thought....

It is OK. I am not expecting you to change. It is human nature. I am sorry if you thought I did. It was more of an observation. There is only so much time in a day. I can?t teview any more than I already do. And some photographers only like photography. Now, I am the one who feels guilty.

Knew you were just commenting Pam. But seriously you know- you could bring it up in the forum. See how other members feel.

Maybe. But, reviewing is time consuming. I think many photographers do not feel qualified to review art. I am not qualified to review photos. I just know what I like. And, I think the reason traditiinal artists review photos is because there are not enough traditiinal artists to review to make enough reviewing just their work. It is enough to me that you understand that artists will have many, many fewer posts achieving recognized for this reason. I just had this flash when I saw another artist?s beautiful work. She is a professional
Artist, but, with few exceptions, she can?t get 15 reviews. A work can be recognized even if each reviewer gives one star. As long as the total number of reviews is 15, it is automatically recognized. Until then, there can be 14 reviews, each being six stars, it will not be recognized. I am not as good an artist as she. Another artist karen zima has fantastic. She does better than most, but the majority of her work does not get enough reviews to be recognized. Maybe I will say something to let people know that it is not because the photographers have more recognized work, it is based on the number of reviews and not the quality of them. I will think about. Thank you for understanding

Yes....'recognized' as well as ATB is based on nothing but the NUMBER of reviews. Actually has nothing to do w/ the quality of the work. I don't necessarily agree w/ that but that's how they do on this site I'm afraid.

You have definitely captured a cold winter morning! The sunrise pink colors in the background really stand out. I'm from Minnesota so I can totally relate! As much as I don't like snow, the snow and frost can make for beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing!

Very nice one, Deb. Loving that baby pink and blue sky that is the backdrop for the snowy trees. They are all nicely arranged in a pleasant composition. The lighting, exposure and details are all well done. It looks very magical.

Whoa that really is officially VERY cold, Deb! don't think it's ever been that cold here in my lifetime.....but what a beautiful, slightly magical view and picture perfect image it creates on camera when in the right hands. The clarity is sharp as a thistle, clean as a whistle and the lighting perfect to capture these untouched, snow frosted trees of different species, size and shape. Like a cake finished off with icing sugar they stand defiant against the bitter cold, nature vs. nature in 2 very different forms! Great POV and tightly cropped, with the blue and pink sky contrasting nicely with the trees and accentuating the piece further, a sublime shot worthy of framing and hanging somewhere significant, great work :)
