A very cute subject hovering over the mist but still fairly conspicuous because of the nice contrast.
Foggy overtone is visually soothing.
Literally a cool capture.
Good perspective & long depth of field...

Another beautiful scene of the Horseshoe Falls flowing fast with the mist rising high. Lovely blue hues re the evening time and yes can just see the bird flying high, giving a perspective of the largeness of the falls. Great capture!

Very nice picture. I had a hard time finding the bird at first but I finally spotted it. Nice shot getting him in there. I love taking pictures of waterfalls but can never seem to get it right when there's a lot mist! Nice composition.

Nice capture of the bird flying over the falls. It just seems so incongruous to see a bird calmly sailing over the massive and dramatic falls. Great capture of the mist and the pinks in the falls. Well done ~ Steve

Nice image that catches the color and power of the falls very well. The rising mist creates an environment for something to happen. And there it is, a lonely bird finding it way through the spray. My only wish would be for the bird to be somewhat larger. It is such a small speck in the larger image that it would be easy for the casual viewer to miss it. The title told me to look for it, otherwise I might have missed it or just thought it was some dirt on the image. Well seen and shot.

This is a beautiful capture that is so emotive that I can almost hear the water and smell the mist. Very well done. Your captures of the falls never cease to amaze and interest me. I enjoy every single one of them. I like that you have left the blues, greens and lavenders that often appear within waters. And I like seeing the mist as it rises...the lavender of that is quite lovely. Your blacks are dramatic and well placed and cropped....showing just enough to prove the reality of these falls. Nice. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the country seems to be grinding to a halt after a few inches of snow! Where we live in the north west of England just one inch this morning, but gone by lunch only to be replaced by a bitterly cold driving wind from the East! Thanks for your kind review!
