This is very pretty. i love snow scenes as they appear calming and quiet. Very nice focus and lighting. Terrific depth and cropping. Such a pretty place to take a walk.

A very nice winter scene posted here! Your traditional composition grants us an enjoyable look at your cold location. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely taken!

You had to come from the tropics half way around the world for this? A beautifully composed shot with fine exposure for the snow and very sharp details.

Exceptional shot Fred!

I love how the trees are sloping down towards the water and that little path that looks so welcoming and foreboding at the same time.

A great image. one I would be proud of!

Very similar to what we have had in the uk recently, hopefully will not get any more now, stil I did get some photos out of it.
I like this one because its almost b/w which adds to the snow, and the fact the path has been cleared and gives that different colour really makes this one, good use of perspective in this...Brian

This is a beautiful scene, I love the path leading in, the trees wearing the fresh snow frame the path and the lake, the reflections. On the lake are beautiful and make this scene magical!everything so fresh and clean ,this is well focused, clear to view , well exposed and shows the natural colors and tones . Hopefully it will melt quickly!

Fred,
It makes me shiver looking at it as I did looking out at my garden yesterday. The snow covering the ground & the trees adds something beautiful before it turns grey & dirty on thawing the trees reflected on the ponds surface adds a bonus. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques,& sharp focus.

I really like your curved path giving us a vanishing Perspective. We are lead in by the pathway and taken down the curve and beyond.
The trees kissed with snow framing out the are beautiful.
Snow just makes everything it touches look pure and so winter white magical.
Nice work Fred :)
