Amazing creation. Stunning.!Moving! Art is first created from within. We draw inspiration from our thoughts, and experiences from the five senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. Your artwork will continue this sensory experience as the viewer gazes upon your creation developing their own thoughts and feelings. Bravo!

wow, I am moved and humbled by your words seshadri. Your rating is an added bonus but you could have not even rated this with the way you describe this work. I know what I had in my mind when I painted it but never knew how it would have been perceived. I have been told that this is too harsh to view and that it would be easier if there wasn't so much reality to it But at the time, I know what the bible tells us of his beating and it was cruel, so why should we make it look less than it was. After all, he took that beating for us. There have been other painting depicting this same scene but most show the sorrow of the people around him or the Romans, I wanted this to focus on Christ only. Again I can't thank you enough for such an overwhelming and heartfelt review.
thank you again
