Considering that you draw by memory I think that the work is done very well.
I like that smile looks very natural, this is not easy to achieve. I like how you done hair, like a general form, not going into details so much.
What I would recommend to improve is construction of the head. Now eyes look a bit flat, because eye lids are of the same width. But in reality this width varies depending on the angle. I would also add some values under the eye brows, nose and lower lip. Because these planes are opposite to cheeks and forehead.
Despite mentioned above, I like her smile and overall mood of the picture. I hope you continue doing your studies

Isn't that what art is all about? Giving light and form to ones thoughts.

I see a face with a happy and content continence. Bright strong eyes equally proportioned and set accurately on the face.

I see a head full of hair drawn with a lot of detail and form.

From memory - that is how all the great master artist created some of their finest work ... B-)) Bob

Hello again Linda!
Your Memory Portrait of her looks pretty good as far as I'm concerned,Linda!
I'm not a good one to be offering critical comments on other artist's works of portraiture as my own portrait drawings are done in my own highly developed ( and not always 'pretty'! ) personal style ( which admittedly isn't to every viewer's liking! ) but you've definitely done well here,my friend!
'Good Show'! : )

This is a nice drawing. Nice technique to show off her wavy hair. Great smile and happy eyes. Nicely proportioned. The woman obviously made a lasting impression.
Nicely accomplished!

Beautiful portrait! Love the expression of the woman's face. You mentioned that this was drawn from memory, and it shows in the flatness of some of the facial features. Perhaps it would be best to have a reference photo, especially when working with portraiture where the smallest subtleties will change the whole piece. Overall a good sketch.

A very lively sketch. Loved the way expressions have come out.in te sketch. However, if the background colour could be distinguished from face colour in my opinion it would have more impact.
