It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The presentation really speaks here. You have the "eye" and a gift for accomplishing these elusive creatures! Nice work!Well done!

What a nice view. Very handsome birds, good capture. I have a mulberry tree in my backyard. When the berries are ripe I am sure the birds have a field day, probably the squirrels as well. Thanks for sharing. ~Alveria

    Alveria,
Thanks a million for your great review on the Birds high in the black Mulberry tree in my back garden...Yes the birds love feasting on the berries that cover the tree & carpet the grass under the tree...sadly I'm too far north to get a good crop as most of them fall before they actually ripen. But I still love the tree.

Nice photo. Birds get slightly lost in surroundings though. One other thing the 2 right photos look like the same picture
Thanks for sharing it with us.

How beautiful are these darlings. Love the colors of the male. Nice effect, framing and technique. I've missed your post. Still having some issues with my iPad. I'm going to try to catch up reviewing.

What a pretty collage you've put together here Susan....and so much to look at. Good notes btw...you DO know your birds....at least the ones that hang around near your patio and on your Mulberry shrub.

Nice detail in each of your three pieces...and good color. The male Siskin shows especially well in the lower and right image and the yellow bird in upper image shows well too.

Nicely presented little collage....and do hope it has finally sopped raining at your place Susan.

Deborah

Takes a lot of time doesn't it Susan? Tha's why I only post two a week usually- I don't want to pay for member money either so two images is typically all I can do enough reviews to post. Any way it is nice to see someone new in that spot for a change. Oh and this is Deborah btw.....although I don't mind at all being mixed up w/ Rebecca....lol...she's a lovely lady too.

It is surprising to me the both cheap cameras and phones can take such nice pictures. Times surely do change. Three nice shots with good colors and fine resolution.

I like this Susan. Especially since I am seeing the exact same birds at my finch feeder. The males have really brightened up quickly now that they are trying to attract the females. Now we just need Spring to get here.

I like your egg shaped photos in your collage. Made me smile since both the male and female are pictured here....and of course Easter has just passed.. LOL!

You did a fine job with your Compact camera. You are so good to have it with you when you need it. I enjoyed these photos very much. They are your style and your story. Thank you!

The Siskins are only visitors to my garden in the winter, as soon as it warms up they head for the Hills & mountains.

Well better a little than none right? Could you zoom in a bit more in your editing? From what I can see this was a lovely treat to catch these little guys between the rain drops.
Very pretty. Thank you for sharing your excitement. ð???

    Monica,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on these birds high in the Mulberry tree.I was at the limit of my zoom when I took the pictures. If I then cropped them the focus would become to soft to put up.
