This is so beautiful. I love how colorful tge painting is. I think many people cam conmect to this. It is hard to place one emotion the woman is feeling so I think whoever the viewer is can make it connect to what they are feeling.I also think that this hits home to the fact that our scars make us beautiful.

I am not a fan of abstract works, but this one is special in so many ways. The colors represent all of the things that have happened in our lives. And the colors are deep and dark saying that we live in the past pains, but there are some softer colors that say pain is not all we see in our lives. But if we allow it, our past lives will haunt us all of our lives.

Wonderful use of color. Your portrait and the use of color on her is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. I have such a hard time with humans, I just love your paintings and how real they look. Susan

I like your abstract painting and normally I don't like abstract. I like the facial on this woman and somehow you conveyed the hidden pain in her expression. Love the vibrant colors. Great description. Thanks for sharing.

You are most certainly welcome. Karen, do you do your art full time or as a hobby?

Well, this one is pushing the limits of form exposition with strong chiaroscuro and brilliant coloration. It is very well done and would be a good gallery or museum piece. But I honestly would never have it hanging in my home. Anyway, like I said, it is well done. Reasons for my five star vote.

Wow! This brings a powerful message and I really appreciate her expression ! The colors are incredible , I like the way she is hidden in the colors of the world, I think that each of us have wounds from our childhoods and we go on without ever being able to resolve them completely . Knowing we are not alone is helpful . This is beautiful work Karen!
