    Thank you :) This is one of my favorites because of how the sunshine brought out so much of the color that isn't often seen on this bird.

Wow...., love those iridescent colors in the wing. I can see orange, yellow, navy, purple and a little pink. Love the action capture with this bird in flight getting those fabulous colors in the wing. Beautiful contrast against that oh so blue sky! Nice, Grace!

GraceA beautiful picture of the Grackle in flight the light catching the iridescence on it's dark plumage & it's pale eyebn, the blue sky making the perfect backdrop. Beautiful compositîon framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp.

It is a challenge to capture these birds on the ground as they Never
Sit still for a second.
To capture one in flight with such sharp focus and eye clarity and perfect blue sky takes skill!

Beautiful photo of this grackle in flight,showing all that wonderful color that explodes in the sunlight.Your image is sharp with great detail,with the eye a nice pop of color.Great initial impact,image nicely centered against the sky.Excellent notes,I have seen robins and flickers anting,almost appearing to be in a trance.An excellent entry for the contest-best of luck and many thanks for sharing! Great capture. This is difficult. If you might want more impact, I would suggest creating more space on the left for the bird to fly into, bring out more detail in the dark areas and replacing the sky with some clouds. Landscape Pro makes this easy

Good artists notes and I like that the storytelling with your image. A beautiful capture of this Grackle in Flight. Good camera techniques and nice stop action revealing the gorgeous color and details of their feathers and markings. Good light handling and perspective. Pin sharp eye clarity.
Fine features & fluffy textures.
Controlled illumination casting Soft highlights & faint shadows.

Pale blue sky is a perfect backdrop popping out the dark plumage of this avian delight!
A sight to behold!
