It looks like it might have been inspired by the TS Eliot poem, Cats. Not so much the musical they made of it. A beautiful garden with wonderful cats. I like the composition and the fabulous colors. Best of luck in the contest.

This painting makes me smile. The cats are adorable. Their face and body expressions are funny. I like the face expression of the smiling sun and that her rays resemble orange leaves, but I think that the sun is placed to tight into the right corner. I find it distracting that the sun rays are cut off.

Thank you very much. I moved that sun twice. Lol. Just shows that sometimes we need to quit fussing.

This is a delight to look at.

A stunning mix of colors and tones that set a whimsical mood.

From the look on these felines faces tells me you know cats.

I love the framing for this piece. Whereas the cats are the main ingredient, old sol's present and in control.

I also like the free form of this piece. I can see that there is a lot of the artist in this fetchingly lovely piece of traditional art.

Thanks for sharing ... B-)) Bob

I absolutely love this!!! Your sense of whimsy is delightful. There is nothing more curious or mischevious than a cat in a garden! And your patterns on the cats tails and the flower stems create a bit of a puzzle for your viewer...to try to decide just how many cats are hidden in that garden. Love the sunshine!!! Wish I had a six! You quite obviously had fun creating this one!!
