Abstract Sea Movement
Impression of movement in the sea19 total reviews

I have the impression that this abstract movement is created by light. The glittering reflection of tidal waves when sunlight glisters on them perhaps. There seems a swirl in the right corner which indicates that an undercurrent is there. The circular swirl flows out to the left which gives an interesting movement. The movement above adds perspective. This abstract is intriguing and leaves the viewer with imagination and dreams of the Seashore. I like especially hoe the movement is created and the various shades of blue.
Thank you for sponsoring this interesting contest.

My all time favorite hue--blue!
Visually soothing.
So cool to the senses.
Impasto strokes almost palpable.
Fantabulous movement of fine strokes across the frame...
Nice movement!

Suzanne,
A beautiful abstract picture of the movement in the sea & the colours seen on the surface & within it's depths. Closing my eyes I can picture the North sea bathed in moonlight under a sky with wind-borne clouds racing across the heavens through which the Moon sends it's beams of silvery light onto the moving surface of the sea Created with very skilful choice blending of both the paint & water with your straw & the artistic knowledge to know when to stop blowing.

I am so jealous of you living by my waters...lol. I can't move. Would miss the 4 that call me papaw. Can't leave them.
OK. This does have a great feel for moving water. Rolling waves. I really like it. Best of luck.

What a wonderful action filled work of art, like the way you have the waves from the monster moving all over, creating nice wave action, good details and textures and depth, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

This is a really good abstract acrylic painting. I think that you have represented the sea and captured the dramatic sense of movement in the water. There are so many different tones of blue in the water along with highlights and shadows. This will make a great contest entry. Good luck.

Another nicely created abstract. You have really mastered the technique you are using to create these pieces. Color is consistent throughout this pieces. There is a nice sense of the ocean surface and the wave movement. Very well seen and created.

Suzanne, a beautiful piece here showing the waters movement with all those different shades of blue.
A great choice for this contest too I may add.
I've always loved acrylics and my husband uses them for his artwork as well.
Great luck in the contest!
