This is awesome! I love the positions of the two standing pelicans and the way their beaks are crossed! Excellent timing to capture this pose! Beautiful subjects, well focused, clear to view, they really show well against the dark background! I like the one resting on the ground too! This is not a bird that I see here so I really appreciate the opportunity to view this photo!

I like the differences in the leathery skin around their eyes. The one on the left has prettier tail feathers but the one on the right has a prettier bill. She seem somewhat disinterested in both of them.

Ha! They do look like they are about to have a serious conversation! Interesting shot and nice detail. I like the dark background which really makes the birds stand out. Not sure if able in this shot, but I would have liked to see slightly more of the pelican lying down.

These white pelicans are something of a rarity in America. I don't know much about them but it seems to me that the two standing are of opposite sexes judging from the lump in front of the eyes.

"Really, you didn't have to hit me over the head to get my attention!" Very fun shot of nature at work. Good sharp details, but you are just on the edge of having your whites blowout in the bright light. Did you use a polarizer or ND filter when you took this? Either of them might have given you some additional control. The dark background helps to make them stand out. I think I would like to see more of her in the shot as well. Well seen.
