What a splendid glow this sunset casts on the sky and the water. I could not get used to the sun staying up until 9:30 every day as I cannot stand daylight savings time. But after a little big dark winter I am sure you welcome the sun.

Although the days are getting longer here in Michigan we have darkness by 9:30 pm. A beautiful shot across that large expanse of water. The colors in the sky are outstanding and their reflection is superb.

Thank you very much! That?s my favorite thing about Alaska, the summers are daylight most of the time it doesn?t even get dark enough for 4th of July fireworks !

Another beautiful Alaskan landscape. The sky is ablaze with golden colors and reflects nicely back onto the water. Although the sky is very dramatic, the water and whole scene is still very peaceful.

A wonderful golden Sunset over Cook Inlet the sun bursting through the clouds as it sits on the horizon & sends a sunbeam across the inlet to you, the gold in the sky reflected on the glistening water's of the inlet.
