You know Pat, I just can't keep up with all your posts. So some will fall out before I can get to them and it is not because I don't care for them. I like this one in the monochromatic tones with the foreground in focus and the background shrouded in fog creating that view of depth and distance. Reasons for my five star vote.

Wow! This looks like a water color painting! Very mystical feel! Very peaceful looking shot! Away from all of the hustle-n-bustle of the busy city and noise. Laying on the beach with a nice mist rolling in.. What a way to spend an evening. Well done, thank you for sharing.

At first sight I mistook this for a painting! This is a realistic, perfectly colored, and skillfully executed piece. You have captured the whimsical quality of the light that has always intrigued me.Thanks for sharing!

A wonderful and "calm" misty capture. Could sit there for hours enjoying the view. Your technical skill fabulous... as usual! :-)) Great natural lighting over the frame. So well done. Thanks for sharing!

Indeed beautiful palette and I would call the yellow hues in the oil medium world "Naples yellow" one of my favourite oils...Your composition is excellent with great linear balance throughout

Lovely capture, Pat, showing a misty morning with the pale yellow sky contrasting well with the purplish tinge in the mountains. I like the angle you used for this. Excellent lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Love Misty water color like shot like this. The soft veil of fog, soft early morning light and your sharp focus offer a fine view and a .Ood of peace and tranquility.
Nice work Pat.

I've been taking a photography course and one of the discussions was the use of triangles and how they add a powerful element to a scene and the first thing I thought of were your mountain pictures and how true that was and this is another example! Thanks for sharing.....great capture!

A wonderful composition, like how you take us from beach to water to boats to add depth then to the depth of the mountain peeks , a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale
