Cool,Pat!
I'm enjoying that soft Yellow/Golden tint that the mist has too,my friend!
It has an almost 'Ghostly' look about it,doesn't it?
It adds to this picture's being another 'Really Good Show'! : )

very nice and i bet it is still cool there too. wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the terrain, mountainous skyline and sky view is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Pat,
A beautiful & atmospheric picture of the golden sunrise over Mariner beach on Homer Split the snow capped peaks covered in a thin veil of mist along with the industrial cranes at the harbour. The tide coming in onto the beach in the foreground. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Wow, this is really a beautiful
and rare color for a sunrise.
I just love the pale yellow and the misty view of this photograph. The beach is wonderfully detailed but the mountains in this are really a show stopper. Beautiful work and a real pleasure to view.

Thank you so very much! It was foggy , I think that?s why it was such an odd color yellow, I really appreciate your reviews!

I am impressed how the natural light is used. The first light of the day reflects beautifully on the water and the wet sand. The emerging sun lent light to the sky and the hazy mountains. I like all those different shades of the mountains, which are emphasized by the lightened sky. The harbor in the background is still a dark silhouette but has some light in its background, perhaps from the city behind. The foreground is still a dark silhouette, which emphasizes everything lightened behind it. The photo is well balanced, has a good depth and is excellently framed.

At first I thought this was a digital creation with that hazy painterly feel on top frame.

Diminishing perspective.
Vanishing viewpoint.
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive strokes & textures. Thanks for sharing...

So nice. You shot this scene at the perfect time to give it a mystical feel. Great subject mater. You should be proud of this one. I lived in Wasilla for two years but never made it to Homer

A beautiful scene that is nicely illuminated by the rising sun. The mountains look great and I really like the pilings along the shore. Fine composition and excellent colors.

This is an amazing picture, Pat! I like the misty colors and snowy mountains! It looks fresh and positive. You captured one of the best views in Alaska! I would like to go there with my family and enjoy every little detail. Pleasure to see it!
