Hi Daphne, this is a beautiful jungle scene with the silver tree trunks and lush green leaves, the pretty pastel sky in silver, pink , yellow and white horizontal stripes, this scene comes to life with the birds and butterflies in flight, the orange bromeliads bring that touch of orange to this scene. Well created, it's a beautiful arrangement, well presented!

The birds are beautiful in this jungle scene. I like the colors of the flowers and plants as the birds and butterflies fly about.
Very pretty to view with a nice calming effect.
Nicely done Daphne ;)

I like the dense plant cover and the birds and the beautiful Blue Morpho butterflies. Your artwork shows the alluring diversity of the American jungles well. The colors are pleasant. The artwork is well composed and framed.

Hey Daphne! I really like your color choices here. That background sky is beautiful as are the different shades of green. The butterflies and birds contrast very nicely and give the work life! The vegetation has been rendered nicely and the use of light is great. Overall a pleasure to view/ review!

a very beautiful and delicate construction. the balance of nature is very much evident here and also representing our current times, plus the urgent need to act and to save such environments. all of those colourful birds, some not even documented by man, have been lost (in recent decades). in your impressionistic imagery, you have created a natural, yet paradise type scenario.

Yikes! I just wrote you a special thank you for this which just flew away into "bit heaven!" Thanks again, I know this was not up for review. It was my first post and got all messed up because a hacker (?) shut me out of this account and gave me a false one and even though it should have been evaluated for the nature contest, this never happened because I was prevented from filing out the paperwork! Thanks to your inspiring review, I just wrote FAR asking if I may enter it in the next one... Thanks again, Daphne Oberon

Great entry for the nature art contest. I like all the soft colors that you have chosen for the piece. The trees are well done, along with the birds and butterflies. Love the sprinkling of red. Great entry and good luck to you.

Thank you so much! With no formal education in art and there being so many talented artists out there such as yourself I had been hesitant to join any competitions. Regardless of the outcome your feedback is very kind and encouraging. I started learning about using Adobe Illustrator a few years ago when a friend gave me a copy after I had a hand injury which prevented my doing traditional artwork. The program was a real godsend! Thanks again!! Daphne

Thank you for your kind review! A real treat for a newcomer! I see that you like animals. Great photography. Power to you! I spent several years in a mountainous location on the Caribbean side of Guatemala in the 1970's and really miss that environment. (Top of Cerro San Gil.) Due to global warming and so on the high rain forest had gone through severe changes when I returned to visit the cloud-covered mountain in 2013. The abundant wildlife I remembered was basically gone and the fierce storms had blown the tallest mahogany trees over. Hopefully other inland areas in Guatemala have fared better. I retain images in my mind's eye of the way it was though and tried to reflect this here... Thanks again! Daphne
