that really does sound like a lot of very hard, patient work, but it worked. it is really beautiful. I am having to look back on your work. Lovely piece, simple but stunning.

Thank you for looking over my portfolio and thank you for the stellar rating.

These flowers are beautiful, wild, and grow all around the jungles where I live. I under@tand the different techniques and how difficult that must be. Nice work.

The colors incorporated into this still life make this portrait come vibrantly alive. We have a feeling of new born day, casting sunlight through the veiny leaves of this amazing flower. Simply beautiful.

This is really good! It's a very neat take on a tropical composition. However, the background looks to be a little patchy. Was that intentional? It adds a neat texture to the background.

I have done some watercolor myself, but never used your technique. I think it is a good one, because you have better control with the process, and avoiding colors to run into each other. The color pallet you have used is of course not the natural colors of this plant, but still I like it very much.
Especially the large leaves are well done, and the characteristic shape of the flowers are very recognizable. The brush work is very good, and I like the all neutral background as well.
The format and framing is good, and both the leaves and flowers have got a fine placement on the paper. It is a good balance between positive and negative space. I think this is a lovely and well done water color painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

From the perspective of a photographer I like the detail in the leaves and the blooms. I also like the creativity you have captured by applying a mix of colors. As my wife is a watercolor artist, I also appreciate the clarity and overall quality of your artwork. Well done.

This is very nice! I like how well you blended the colors to create highlights in the leaves and the flowers. The shapes of both are so true to life and very attractive. The background looks appealing too :)

Cool!
That's a pleasantly attractive watercolor rendition of this exotic plant,my friend!
I'm enjoying it's nicely stylized character which gives it an interesting 'semi abstract' kind of look!
'Good Show'! : D

I think this is fantastic! While the colors may not be exactly what one would find in nature, I think they are still realistic looking and make this painting look very exotic. The detail in the leaves and Bird of Paradise flowers is exceptional. Well done!
