What a beautiful scene. From the haze, I would guess that this was taken very early in the morning when the winds were calm. I like the way you captured the black balloon in the forefront which gives contrast to the red ones and interest to the viewer's eye. Depth of field is good as is framing and exposure.

Floating along with the wind, are five hot air balloons bound for who knows where. They give a 360 degree view of the countryside. This would be a whole lot of fun. The best of luck in the upcoming contest. Ray

Look like yo had a very overcast day with low clouds or perhaps fog. I love the pink hot air balloons. I can just imagine what it was like to be a passenger on one of them. For the circumstances you had good lighting and focus. You don't see Hot air balloons in many images, so this is a great entry for the transportation contest! Nice Job And Good Luck in the contest! :o) Helvi

I guess this was taken from another hot air balloon something i want to do although did once go up in a microlight a few years ago and went up about two and a half thousand feet[magical] although its quite a reasonable shot can,t quite work out why you cut the balloon in half and also your dof needed to be much bigger as the far balloons are not sharp which i think in the overall image needed to be,but bet it was a fun trip...Brian

as you guess, it was taken from another balloon: very close to the one in front; if I turn my camera to include the entire dark ballon, no more land would be included and the bottom of one balloon would be cut; what do you prefer ?

Wonderful image! So colorful and cheery. Love the early morning fog on the horizon. The angle allows us to see the perspective of how large the balloons are compared to the road and home. Excellent entry for the contest. Thanks for sharing.
