Wow, you. This is quite the unusual capture of an iceberg on the coast of Greenland. You have so many unique captures from all your travels. This looks like a cloud fell from the sky and froze. Could have been a good entry in the color blue contest.
Thanks for sharing.

This is on my bucket list before I get too old to do so.

I love the blue of the iceberg against the dark water and clouds!

Your composition is pleasing to these eyes the way you filled the frame with the iceberg. I think the clods really add to it and I wonder if it would be as dramatic if it had been a clear day.

Very nice!

Thanks for sharing. This is a beautiful floating iceberg. I don't know how dangerous it or any icebergs nowadays are. But this is lovely and you did a skilled job in photographing the composition.

Was it dark outside? Looks like it's either coming on dawn or dusk. Not sure if Greenland is like Alaska where day is in the night. Anyway, it's a cool capture, the blue in the ice is a nice touch. Thanks for sharing.

So beautiful. And yet, below the surface lies the true peril. And it reminds me that Greenland is mostly covered with ice while Iceland is mostly green.

"Growlers" Fred, that's what my Merchant Marine father called these bergs. Three quarters below the surface - silent, deadly.

If you are a "Pan Handler" or a rock hound Greenland is the place to be these days. In some places the Greenland Ice Cap has receded as much as 160Km. Exposing land no human has ever laid eyes on.

Greenland's terra nova has also shown itself to be rich in precious metals and gem stones.

The aqua marine of the growlers sets a nice contrast with the land mass and sky.

Excellent exposure and deep DOF.

Nice work... Bob

This photo captures the majesty and power of the floating icebergs. The composition is grand and the colors are wonderful. I especially enjoy their translucent nature and reflections in the water. The dark skies seem foreboding. Great shot!

The color of the ice is just amazing. It is in such contrast to the sea water and sky. I can just imagine how more dramatic it was looking overboard from the vessel you were one. Well done.

This is a wonderful shot of floating icebergs in Greenland. I have seen similar ones in Alaska a couple of years ago. You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!
